I am a regular reader of SmartBloggerz and am quite impressed with the content posted there. Today, I liked this wonderful article of tips to earn little more money from AdSense without investing much time, but rather optimizing AdSense for yourself. I was so happy to read this useful tip that I can’t stop from sharing it with larger audience.
One of the main reasons why many times we hardly get 5 cents from clicks is because the ad boxes are showing MFA (Made For Adsense) ads. These MFA sites have lots of crappy content or in some cases no content at all, and this leads to minimal revenue from clicks on these ads. I have never knew this until today. I was left wondering why my AdSense revenue is not growing especially when my sites are increasingly becoming popular… Now I know: this is THE reason…
Sounds familiar no? Don’t worry, there is a workaround with which you can ensure that such MFA ads don’t appearn on your blog. You should use “Cometitive Ad Filter” feature of Adsense and should ban 
MFA sites. You can also use AdsBlackList, one of the unique projects designed to enable you to dramatically reduce the amount of MFA and LCPC (low cost per click) sites which appear through the use of PPC (pay per click) systems such as Google Adsense™, Yahoo Publisher Network™ and Chitika eMiniMalls™. You should follow these simple steps in order to use it:
- Register with Adsblacklist (free!). After successful registration, login & go to “My Account”; Click on “Add New Domain” link at the top and enter your domain details.
- Once your domain is submitted, navigate to ”Generate Filter List” from left sidebar; Drag any domain(s) which you have created in the empty box at the right hand side.
- Tick on “MFA” and “LCPC” options and click Submit.
- You will get the list which you just have to paste into your Competitive Ad Filter of AdSense.
In Google AdSense; you can add maximum of 200 such (blacklisted) sites in the ads filter. I personally believe that by using the Competitive Ad Filter, you should see a decent increase in your Google AdSense earnings. I have already started doing it. And you?
